2020 was a tough year for many of us. We found ourselves isolated from our loved ones and the activities we enjoyed, and many of us also struggled with health issues, or inner demons. We spent long days inside, looking out the window. At least if the view is nice, it can be turned into a cozy short film. Especially when the coastal weather is as varied as it is, nature blesses you with a winter rich in snow, and the ice on the fjord is thick enough to be walked on, for the first time since 1986.

The View From my Window is a 13 minutes short film made up of shorter moments and time lapse footage shot in Bergen, Norway, from December 2020 to April 2021. I hope you enjoy it.
